Peson Namsen

A light-rowing boat you can leave out all season

The Peson Namsen is a steady, light-rowing boat in solid HDPE — built on traditional wooden-boat lines, for mountain lakes, rivers and the coast. You can skip the spring work.

Traditional lines. Good rowing.

The Peson boat takes its shape from the traditional river boat and is built the same way — keel, ribs and strakes, welded in solid HDPE. That gives a stable boat with good glide and comfortable rowing, without wood's demands for caulking, sanding and paint.

Out all season — ready when you are

The HDPE hull does not take in water and can be left out through the whole season. When you come back, the boat is ready for another row — without the usual preparation. More time on the water, less work ashore.

Vår historie

What the people who use it daily say

The Peson boat was developed in Namdalen and is used today by private owners, landowners and rental operators across the country. They are our sternest critics.

We have used Peson boats for a few years now, and the upkeep is far simpler. We wash them and put them out the day before the season. It runs well with an outboard without digging itself down. It is a joy to row — the best boat I have ever rowed.

Rune Lassemo

Namsen Drift AS

I run salmon fishing rentals on the Namsen and have always had wooden boats, but they need a lot of upkeep and repair. The feedback from rowers and anglers is that the Peson boat is good to row, stable and glides well. I have ordered another one.

The Peson boats are stable and move nicely in the river across changing currents. They are very popular with our guides and anglers. That they are close to maintenance-free is a big plus as well. Recommended!
